CH1030 Wheeled Commode
Shower commodes are wheeled mobility devices that are used with people who are unable to walk into or stand in a shower to bathe. Most have small wheels and are moved by a caregiver although the expensive high end models can be self-propelled. All shower chairs are equipped with an open style toilet seat and bucket so they can double as a wheeled padded commode chair throughout the home.
Often the user will be transferred to the shower chair directly from bed, transported to the shower, bathed and returned to the bedroom for dressing. Without the wheeled shower chair the user would have to be transferred to a wheelchair, taken to the shower, transferred to a shower chair, bathed, transferred back to a wheelchair, returned to the bedroom for dressing.
The Ezee Life shower chair has a padded seat for comfort and wheels so it can be easily moved by a caregiver into and out of the shower or around the home.
